POST - REQUIREMENTS

Nominate a destination by making an IG post from the INSTAGRAM account that you registered.

IG post MUST include:

Name of Destination

The City:

City Closest to the Nomination, not to exceed 100 Miles from the City Center.

Categorized (choose only one – if more than one is chosen, your first tag or reference is used) - without a category reference, you post & nominated will not be valid, nor registered:

IMPORTANT: 10 nominations, per category, per city - choose your 10 wisely.
EACH CITY = 7 CATEGORIES x 10 MAX NOMINATIONS PER CATEGORY
= 70 MAXIMUM NOMINATION PER CITY)
Quantities surpassing your first 70 per city, (10 nominations per category) will not be accepted.
Any deletion of a destination nomination post to substitute for a separate destination nomination post will not be accepted. Only the first 10 destination nomination posts, per city, per category are counted, whether deleted or kept.

IMPORTANT 2: OFFICIAL destination nominations are counted each Sunday. Any #citywidenom posts that aren't available each Sunday, is not counted.
IMPORTANT 3: Your #citywidenom nominated destinations are placed within the their specified polls as soon as possible but no later than the following Sunday on citywidespotlight.com to be voted on.

POST DISQUALIFICATIONS

A "text only" post will not be accepted.

The use of a photo/video that is not of your own will not be accepted.

A second location is located within a second Citywide Spotlight featured city will not be accepted.

We feature the “best of the city.” If there’s another location in another featured city, this nomination is ineligible.

Your nominated destinations, MUST be within 100 Miles from the city specified in your IG post.

Inappropriate Content
PLAY - POLL INCLUSION
-
After your IG Post is made, The Nomination is added to a poll on citywidespotlight.com the following Sunday of your IG post.
-
Your nomination is found on the Running Polls page of the City and Category that you specified, on citywidespotlight.com.
-
If the same destination is nominated by more than one influencer, the first influencer to nominate the destination properly on IG, claims the destination nomination.

WIN - VOTE COUNT
-
The top 5 vote recipients of nominated destinations associated with an Influencer will be awarded, in the order of the total quantity of votes are counted.

All polls close at 01/01/2024 at 12:00 AM local time.

You may use any platform to promote your nominations, but Official record of Nominations are kept on Instagram, as directed in "POST - REQUIREMENTS". If you choose to use other platforms to promote your nomination, we suggest that you first use Instagram to record your nomination. Usage of any other platform other than Instagram will not be registered.
